وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی عمان کے 3روزہ سرکاری دورے پر مسقط پہنچ گئے۔ عمان میں پاکستانی سفارتخانہ سے جاری بیان کے مطابق مسقط پہنچنے پر وزیر خارجہ کا ان کے عمانی ہم منصب یوسف بن علاوی بن عبدا? نے پرتپاک خیرمقدم کیا۔ وزیر خارجہ کے ہمراہ اعلیٰ سطح کا تکنیکی ماہرین کا وفد بھی عمان کا دورہ کر رہا ہے۔ پاکستانی وفد میں دوطرفہ تعاون کے شعبوں سے متعلق ماہرین شامل ہیں جو دونوں ممالک کے مشترکہ کمیشن کے ساتویں سیشن میں معاونت فراہم کریں گے۔ مشترکہ کمیشن کا اجلاس جمعرات کو ہو گا ۔دونوں ممالک کے مابین معاہدوں پر دستخط ہوں گے ۔ وزیر خارجہ پاکستانی کمیونٹی کی استقبالیہ تقریب میں بھی شریک ہوں گے۔ دریں اثناءعمان روانگی سے قبل میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود نے کہا کہ عمان خطے کا اہم ملک ہے۔پاکستان کے دیرینہ تعلقات ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دورے کے دوران پاکستان عمان مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن میں شرکت کروں گا۔ وزیراعظم اور وزیر خارجہ سمیت اعلیٰ قیادت سے ملاقاتیں ہوں گی۔ مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون کو بڑھانے پر تبادلہ خیال ہو گا۔
